i would say the more likely solution is Dubois’ team,friends and family don’t want to see this fight.

Usyk’s handlers were idiots to accept a 70/30 split. Now, they have to decide if defending the WBA belt is worth fighting for if this heavyweight tournament ever comes to fruition. A loss or injury would eliminate Usyk from the tournament. Dubois v Usyk is a fight nobody gives a **** about. Usyk would have a hard time selling 5,000 tickets as a headline anywhere, and as bad a Dubios is, he may be the draw in this meaningless fight.

Without all the belts the Saudi tournament just becomes an exhibition and has far less value. Usyk-Dubois sells out the O2 especially if Eddie wins the fight and can be PPV if it's priced reasonably.

Not sure having a new trainer will be reason enough for the WBA to not demand the fight happens or you miss your shot. How is this going to play out? Usyk needs to fight his mandatories

They would rather Dubois has one fight back after his injury, then move into title fight maybe.

But really? If a title fight opportunity is there, I think Dubois should take it.

Win or lose this is just experience for him. Better fight in the title fights now, instead of stalling 'And fighting them in the latter stages of his career'.

There is no pressure of Dubois in this fight, and it is a big event. The only pressure Dubois has, is pressure from his team and himself etc.

Another failed negotiation, Usyk is the problem. He's become a diva.

And what exactly would the Diva be asking for? If it goes to purse bids he'll get 75%. It would be pointless asking for any more.

I'm assuming Dubois was chancing his arm at a delayed fight date or maybe even a bump in the percentage.

Usyk's only leverage is to drop the belt. But Dubois would probably prefer that.

ACL tears generally take about 14 mos. to comeback 100%. Ain't not possible way Dubois could fight Usyk on one leg. This is all smoke and mirrors from Queensberry to make it look like Usyk was the reason the Fury fight fell apart. **** in the henhouse, brother.
