Seriously, why is anyone still talking about this. Tank is on a way higher level, and any tuneup wouldn’t have made a lick of difference.

They might be able to do just that, and a couple of other fighter's might be able to as well. Let's see who his next opponent is in the 140 pound division.
He wasn't suffering from mental issues when he first pulled out of the G. Davis fight, that was reality kicking in.
He was having real mental issues when he signed the contract to fight Tank, and actually entered the ring to face the Tank!

Gesta would have been a very nice tuneup for Tank.

However, Gesta himself looked resurgent in his comeback fight in 2022.

I posted a couple times that Gesta was not going ot be a pushover for Ryan; older fighter, but he's added to his game. When Ryan canceled, I thought Gesta would beat Jojo and he did handily. So it's like a lack of confidence to not fight Gesta, but with big money on the line, I can't say it was wrong?
          .
Because now that these fights are over, I think Ryan was right in his assessment that Gesta was looking good; it would have been a risk against the Gesta that beat Jojo imo.

I think it's a fight he can still come back to though, and it's prob more legit now than it was. So maybe it wasn't the worst call.

Still upset at how Tank-Garcia ended though, Garcia needs to make amends quickly

Wouldn't have made no difference Oscar, Garcia just not at that level. Have another line.

              Well duh.

But Ryan thinks he knows everything.

When you can't make it work with Eddy Reynoso or Joe Goosen, you're cooked

He's correct of course. Nobody fighting at or around WW today could carry Oscar's jock strap. That said, Ryan doesn't care. he's an "influencer" not a fighter. From here he goes to work for Telemudo or Televisa. They'll give him his own telenovella and just dub in his lines en espanol.

I know Reynoso couldn't help Ryan because Ryan is a diva but I think he looked his best with Reynoso.

I agree with that analysis, but now Ryan is going to find his victories harder to achieve, at least that's what I believe.
