Seriously, why is anyone still talking about this. Tank is on a way higher level, and any tuneup wouldn’t have made a lick of difference.

Gesta would have been a very nice tuneup for Tank.
However, Gesta himself looked resurgent in his comeback fight in 2022.
I posted a couple times that Gesta was not going ot be a pushover for Ryan; older fighter, but he's added to his game. When Ryan canceled, I thought Gesta would beat Jojo and he did handily. So it's like a lack of confidence to not fight Gesta, but with big money on the line, I can't say it was wrong?
.
Because now that these fights are over, I think Ryan was right in his assessment that Gesta was looking good; it would have been a risk against the Gesta that beat Jojo imo.
I think it's a fight he can still come back to though, and it's prob more legit now than it was. So maybe it wasn't the worst call.
Still upset at how Tank-Garcia ended though, Garcia needs to make amends quickly

He's correct of course. Nobody fighting at or around WW today could carry Oscar's jock strap. That said, Ryan doesn't care. he's an "influencer" not a fighter. From here he goes to work for Telemudo or Televisa. They'll give him his own telenovella and just dub in his lines en espanol.real raw likes this.
