Regardless, Linares was trying to get him off and fight, and that was Mora's job to warn Haney and then take a point off if he continued to hold.
Very well said my friend! While I don't agree with you. At least I do respect your opinion. Good post!

Well, he should have kept the action on the inside then, if he was having such great success there. There was no need for him to back up unless he was afraid of getting hit by Haney's counters.

The truth is, he just didn't try hard enough to win. You are giving a loser brownie points for fighting in spurts, not taking enough risks and touching up Haney; Which is very sad.

He still lost the fight because he was afraid of catching an ass whupping; Which was the main reason why he fought the way he did. Devin Haney was about to get in his ass.

One more thing, there is a blue print on how to defeat Loma because it has happened before. However, there is no blue print on how to defeat Haney because it has never happened before.

Devin Haney is a weight bully, that's all he is. He can barely crack an egg. Loma stopped a younger CHAMPION Linares being the smaller guy while Haney couldnt stop an older, past his prime, gate keeper Linares.

The blueprint to beat Loma waa written by a southpaw with elite skills. Haney is an orthodox fighter lacking elite skill. JoJo is known for shelling up when guys throw punches. Did it against Russell.

Watch the third fight between Lomachenko and Selimov. Lomachenko won, but Selimov neutralized his attacking game and pushed him to the brink. He did it through calculated pressure, precision counters, and being extremely rough. Hit Lomachenko cleanly far more in five rounds than Salido did in twelve.

I won't write Loma off in this fight. I believe he knows what time it is. This is his last chance at the top level due to his age. Haney better come prepared.
