This isn't the first time Weeks pulled some shady shit. Kovalev vs Ward II comes to mind. Something's not right about that guy. He needs to be investigated thoroughly and the appropriate action should be taken.

No doubt. Weeks was told to do this imo because Rolly is the perfect opponent for PBC to utilize.

He’s a modern day SD Jones or Iron Mike Sharpe from the old WWF.

He will sell fights while not being a real danger to beat anyone truly talented because he only has a puncher’s chance.

And if he does upset anyone, its likely a highlight reel ko where you get a rematch, maybe even a trilogy, to make money.

They're looking for one or two maybe. That's why he called out Ryan and Tank. Those are the big PPV names near that weight class. They're trying to cash out on Ryan v Rolly, with the loser basically being exposed and done, then try to coax Tank into a rematch with the winner.

That's exactly why. Tank doesn't ever fight people on his own level. He fights for money, and PBC is trying to tempt him with a "real" title to rematch guys he already knows he can beat pretty easily. What in Tank's career makes you think he wants to fight anyone even remotely on his level?

What's your point? Neither of them was on his level, although they were closer to his level than most of the cans that populate the rest of his resume. The guys with the best accomplishments on his resume all fight at below his weight class, and the other biggest names are primarily big because he carried them or they managed to not get knocked out. They certainly weren't big names before they fought him.

He doesn't seek anyone out outside of the occasional cherry pick like Santa Cruz and Barrios. He's Mr A-side. You really think he won't be tempted by a chance at a non-secondary title against the winner of Rolly v Ryan? You think he'd rather fight Shakur? Winner of Haney v Loma? Because history doesn't demonstrate that. He's got amazing power and lots of skill, but he seems very happy to coast on being a "face" of boxing. If he can duck the top guys in his real weight class to get a "real" title against a loser with high PPV value, you can be sure he'll do that.
