I missed the fight, but caught the highlights after on YT. Going off that alone, it looked like total bs. Rolly got dropped legit. Barroso got pushed down. Then the ref jumps in when multiple punches MISSED. I was like, whaah? Again, I didn't watch the fight, but evidently Barroso was ahead on all 3 scorecards? If that doesn't smell like a robbery (against Barroso), I don't know then.

I'm sure nobody expected a 40yr old to give Rolly that much trouble and that Rolly would hopefully steam roll him to claim the belt, but it didn't happen that way. Now you have a belt basically handed over to Rolly when he was behind on scorecards, was legit dropped and the ref looked like he was advised to jump in during any moment where Rolly looks busy against Barroso as the fight neared the end. Sucks. Just another reason why my passion for boxing has waned over the years (that and the lack of mega fights).

He's had call outs from Teo, but they couldn't make that fight for some reason. Haney has called him out multiple times. Kambosos called him out immediately after getting the belts. Loma called him out on camera live in 2019 before the Crolla fight. Shakur called him out immediately upon entering the division. He's been getting called out for years, but somehow never fought any of the top guys until Ryan, and him only after he'd left the division.

Every big name in the division has called him out, and he's ducked every one of them when they had the titles.

He's a great fighter, with tremendous power, but I have no idea where you're going with your delusion that nobody calls him out.

I like you, am a fight fan, so I have no problem seeing him fight top guys. And since I don't know the guy, I can't defend his position much at all. I do know he made a grip fighting Rolly and Ryan and I was entertained, so I ain't mad at him.

Actually, Barroso has 22 KOs in 24 victories, so it's known that he can ****.

I know he can **** based on the record, granted so could Tank. They weren't banking on Barroso being effective at 40yrs old to give Rolly that much trouble. Basically a showcase fight for Rolly to KO him instead and win the belt in impressive fashion. Do you honestly think they would have predicted a 40yr ahead on all 3 scorecards? What mega fight could they land with the 40yr old who doesn't speak English after he obtains the belts? It's a hard sell.

Meanwhile, Rolly, despite his KO loss to Tank, picked up some fans. They know he can be in exciting fights, win or lose and will watch him regardless.

Rolly and his people weren't banking on fighting Barroso at all. They were probably saying, "Oh shit!", when Puello failed his drug test and Barroso was named Romero's new opponent. Word gets out. They knew Ismael is a tough customer even at 40. Rolly didn't attack him like he attacked Tank. He was cautious as hell from the first bell and was on his back foot after the knockdown in round 3.
