Totally agree but he’s a lot of fun. Can’t see him beating any upper echelon fighter at 135 or 140 let alone be the biggest star in boxing. He might be able to beat Ryan Garcia.

PBC/SHO has a shallow talent pool?

I realize that you personally are responsible for the cleanliness of Oscars testicles but stop with the ignorant shyte already. Garcia’s drawing power just went way down when he pulled a quit job vs Tank and Rollie can’t pull numbers like Tank can. So how in the phuck is Ryan/Rollie gonna out sell Ryan/Tank? You’re not really that phuckin dumb are you?

          Doesn’t need to..

it simply needs to surpass the 350k buys Tank vs Rolly did

Tank is a woman beating POS that has no personality or gift of gab..

Ryan vs Rolly sells much better.. at least 100% more buys

Rolly is not good. He doesn't deserve a title fight coming off a KO loss. I hope this old guy beats him. He already knocked him down. He is entertaining, but not good.

For someone like Romero to get this amount of attention, I'm starting to wonder if SHO/PBC actually believes in the quality of their roster.

PBC has more talent than any other promotional entity. That’s just a fact.

Maybe "more" as in sheer size. To expand on my point, I'm not sure if my issue is with their sub-30 roster or with the machine that's tasked with developing their potential and creating stars. Maybe SHO/PBC is in on the joke and they're just pushing Romero to reinforce Gervonta Davis' position. Rolly will definitely be looking to parlay this victory into another Davis fight. Assuming the WBA strips Puello and allows Ohara Davies to be skipped, Rolly/Davis 2 becomes a possibility. PBC should be feeding Rolly to Matias (in order to keep him on PBC island) or Gary A. Russell (who shouldn't have avoided the shot to begin with).

Good for Rollie. He is doing what boxers should all do... Sell you own damn fights, make promoters a small piece of the pie. Rollie sells his fights, he has that style where he can crack, and he may well get cracked. People like that , it draws them in. Remember the Golota Tyson fight? Billed as the "guaranteed train wreck" of the century lol... And it did not dissapoint.

Boxing needs guys like the Paul Brothers and Rollie... Just like Florence italy, in an age where the art was sublime, depended on crude merchants with money for patronage. Buddhism likewise... a spiritual rerligion that always had full pockets because of patronage from those with big pockets and little values.
