Yes! I mean if you are not 100 percent healthy; Then why would you risk your own livelihood in the first damn place? That's giving your opponent an unfair advantage.

It's almost like giving yourself a reason to lose the fight; Knowingly taking a fight when you are injured. It's like saying I am going to take this fight but when I lose, I can always use the bum shoulder excuse as my defense.

If you were to ask me it all sounds like bullshit![/QUOTE]

    Like Canelo’s hand injury then?

No, not exactly! All of Canelo's opponents were handpicked; Including Dmitry Bivol. He knew full well in advance that he could take all of those guys and for the exception of Bivol; He almost did. However, with Loma there was some uncertainty because of Teo's profile. He was a rising undefeated contender at the time who could fight and had real knockout power.

The only reason why he lost that fight because he was afraid of taking risks and just simply refuse to try to win the fight by spotting Teo the first seven rounds.

If he was truly injured and had a bum shoulder going into that Teo fight; Then he should have just postponed it until he was fully healthy.
that's not entirely true. Loma couldn't throw any hooks or uppercuts at all in that fight. Compare the Lopez fight to his other fights. I just saw a guy to a fight breakdown and say that Loma can't throw hooks. To back up his claim, he took clips from the Lopez fight. I was like, "man, he had a torn rotator cuff; of course he couldn't throw hooks." I told him to trying using something other than the Lopez fight.

It was ridiculous. That motion on the shoulder is too much. You saw Loma throw a lead overhand in the second round, at the end. It's the perfect punch for Lopez because of that shell defense he likes to use. But after that, Loma just throw straight punches over the top.

I get your point. I am dis*****g that he was hurt. Hell? Even Manny Pacquiao was injured going to the Floyd Money Mayweather fight but he didn’t disclose it.

All I am saying is in the case of Loma he should have postponed the fight until he was fully healed. He should never gone into the Teo fight with his health being compromised.

Yes, I agree he was injured but he shouldn’t have taken the fight in the first place unless he was 100% healthy because could have made the injury worse. That’s all I was saying.
