Didn't know fighting a semi-retired, past prime Arreola could lead to a big fight.

Lots of dismissive talk about "the Nightmare" here. Granted he's now past 40, but the average age of the top 10 is now 36.9, and in his last two losses he set punch stat records against Kownacki and fought Andy Ruiz better than AJ did in two tries. I'd call him a live underdog against Sanchez, at least.

Live underdog for sure & he was is good shape for both Kownacki & Ruiz… He could have got the decision in the Kownacki fight & had his moments early vs Ruiz.Arreola will be in his face early throwing bombs…

Arreola is past prime, but fight could be Sanchez's toughest one. Let's see how Frank can make such fight so easy as it is on paper.

Frank Sanchez has never been impressive to me. Nor do I believe he's a threat to anyone in the top 5, top 10. He's extremely boring to watch. Fighting Arreola does nothing for him in any way shape or form. Maybe stay busy I guess.

I don't like this fight for Arreola, but it will clearly show if he can continue fighting top 10 guys. Hopefully he won't get KO'd in the process. For Sanchez, I think he should be fighting the Hughie Fury's, Daniel Dubois's, Joseph Parker's, and Jarrell Miller's of the world at this point. Maybe Andy Ruiz. It's pointless to be fighting Arreola now.

They were in the same card last time and they fought bums, instead of fighting each other already.

And Sanchez saying it would lead to a big fight is basically admitting Arreola would be his toughest fight.

It's hilarious. Prime vs Past Prime/Retired.

Arreola doesn't do well against movers. He likes when the other guy comes straight at him. If he's lucky enough to trap Sanchez against the ropes, he'll probably do some damage. But at 42 years old, that's not gonna happen.

A young fighter in his prime should be able to trade with a past prime 42 yr old guy.
Too much movement and disengaging would make him look weak and scared.
