But since you mentioned Benavitez, I’ll play along with you.
Triangle theories don’t work in boxing. The theory of, “boxer A did better against boxer B than boxer C did against boxer B. Therefore, boxer A beats boxer C.” It doesn’t work like that.
This has been proven time and time again and if you knew anything about boxing, you would know this. Triangle theories are just that. Theories. You need to prove it in the ring. I’m not saying that Benavitez would win, but it’s not a foregone conclusion that Canelo would just outright beat someone as physically big and strong as Benavitez. Especially since I think everyone is in agreement that Canelo is starting to show some signs of wear and tear. He won’t just walk through someone the size of Benavitez. Canelo’s best wins always came against smaller opponents.
And as far as Canelo winning 12 - 0, Ryder won the 12th rd for one thing.Comment

I don't really see Canelo winning the Bivol rematch, unless he can seriously improve his gas tank. He's been gassing out in all of his recent fights. I thought it was just because of the extra weight from 175, but he looked slower and heavier against GGG also. He was loading up big time on punches and telegraphing. He's got plenty of business at 168 also. If he CAN clear Bivol, Benavidez, and Morrell, that's really going to round out his resume though.Comment

Did you not read what I posted?
canelo dominated Ryder waaay more clearly than how bivol beat Canelo. What part of that do you not understand?
Or are you really trying to say the fights were the same despite bivol doing squat the first 3-4 rds?Comment

Why are you bringing up Benavitez? Where did I ever mention Benavitez in my comment?

First and foremost you're ppl play the victims non stop never forget that you dumb ***in idiot.
And look around all the haters here say "nooo to a rematch" why because they are afraid canelo would avenge it plain n simple. Because if those haters really felt Canelo can "never" beat bivol they would call for bivol to get a huge payday and another canelo loss but they fear that if canelo wins they can't hold that lose over him.
if 8-4 is dominant for you that's cute clear win yes but "dominant" the way canelo dominated Ryder lol yea sure.
I used that comparison because another poster was quick to say "oh canelo clearly won" as if there was any debate lol Yet called bivols win "dominant". Lol mfer called a 12-0 one sided fight a "clear win" yet called an 8-4 fight "dominant " see the narrative change....ofcourse you wont.
You giving Canelo 4 rounds vs Bivol, speaks volumes about who you are. Canelo won no more than 2 rounds and hell yes that’s dominate.
These “haters” (your pet victim word) that don’t want a Bivol/Canelo rematch are in your imagination. They either don’t exist or are a verrrrrrrry small portion of boxing fans.Last edited by just the facts; 05-08-2023, 11:40 AM.Comment

First and foremost, your ppl = you are people. I’m one person not plural. You CONSTANTLY make every single boxing situation involving a Mexican fighter out to somehow that fighter isn’t getting a fair shake. Again, CONSTANTLY!

Fact is yes those haters don't want it in fear that canelo avenges it. You may want it and that's cool but you are not the majority.
Here you go big man look at all those haters that agree with him. Lol
The proof is in the pudding pal...FACTS!!!!!

Youre either delusional or just plain ******. Take a look around the majority here are saying a canelo/bivol fight is pointless. Poster rjj-jab 94 or whatever his name is just made a damn thread about being against the rematch earlier today.

You need to revamp the way you think and get rid of that overwhelming victim mentality you have.Comment

6,7 maybe 9 then 12. The punch stats were just as biased as the judging. They say Ryder only landed 6 punches in that round. Go rewatch that round, I had Ryder landing about 18 shots and a number of really strong ones.Last edited by Oracle01; 05-08-2023, 06:20 PM.Comment
