  • Alvared is reduced down to basic. He looked like shyt against a cherry pick. Bivol has beaten the fight out of him.

    • Respect to both fighters, well done to Canelo, it can be a lot of pressure in front of your country's supporters.

Huge credit to Ryder, he's got a big heart. The man survived 12 rounds with Canelo after taking a beating, inside an 18 foot ring, in Mexico.

Canelo is wanting in all three areas.. Bud Crawford is clearly top P4P in the game!!!

Nah I think you're delusional. Canelo is light-years ahead of Crawford in competition and challenges. Canelo has took much more risks than Crawfish. And he actually fought his nemesis in the same weight division 3 times. Who's Crawfords nemesis and how many times has he fought him? If Crawfords desire was so high he would've already signed to fight Spence. Yeah I agree Canelo has more wear and tear because he took tougher fights throughout the course of his career. Canelo is already planning to fight the bigger fighter who beat him in September. I wouldn't be surprised if " Dud" went on to fight Ugas or someone else that's Spences leftovers

        • 1. You have to wonder if Ryder knew at any time that he needed to be nearly twice as busy as he was to have a chance.
          2. Anyone that talks about Canelo being washed up or looking ordinary and such is ignoring the fact that when he has the ability (with Bivol he obviously didn't) to land his body shots, he has an insane advantage in any fight.
          3. PLEASE do not rematch Bivol. We want Bivol/Beterbiev and not next year or the year after. It would be a travesty if we don't get that fight.

          • I thought it was a decent fight. Very one-sided in as early as the third round, but it was stirring to see Ryder tough it out and through sheer bloody-minded determination manage to start giving it back to Canelo by the end. Tiny ring, cards were too wide, but Canelo obviously deserved the win.

Anyone calling Ryder a creampuff should probably stop watching the sport.

            • The Boxing world wants to see Canelo vs Benavidez.

No one wants to see Canelo vs Bivol 2.

Spence is past it too at 33.

All those guys have struggled, lost rds or been hurts by far lesser comp than Ryder.
In boxing terms he is, he has been fighting professionally over 20 years that’s an eternity in boxing. I didn’t watch the fight as I’m very familiar with John Ryder and there was no way I was staying up till 4am to see a precession. I like Canelo and fully expected him to dispose of a limited fighter such as Ryder. Every fighter has a bad day in the office and Canelo is no different. I admire Canelo is willing to go after Bivol considering Bivol won their first fight reasonably easy. Canelo historically struggles with great movers so I can’t see nothing but a Bivol win at any weight class. Benividez is slow and Ponderous that’s an easy fight for Canelo

Canelo a few times pointed to his left hand during the fight to his corner did he break it again?

I would hate to see him get beaten up but the torch must be passed.
canelo has always tired after the first 7-8 rounds, nothing new, 2 years ago, 5 years ago 10 years ago.
