Hm...maybe Canelo IS on the decline. Seems he's having a difficult time getting them out of there.
Or is it that NSB underrated Ryder?
Didn't watch the fight, I'm legit asking the question.Comment

Good fight. Terrible gameplan for Ryder. Just taking damage without much offense. British trainers as bad a british refs. Ryder if he was raised in America would’ve been the great white hype at smw, not the bum Plant.Last edited by SplitSecond; 05-06-2023, 11:18 PM.Comment

More Impressed with Ryder Heart and Toughness Rather than Canelo's Performance
Canelo is on a Decline for sure, still an excellent fighter and one of the best P4P but I see a serious decline and Stamina issues late. Not beating Bivol in a rematch but I would still respect him for trying again but yeah same results vs BivolComment

Decent showing for Canelo. I thought the whole point of Ryder was to see how well his left hand was coming back from surgery? Didn't seem like he threw too many left hooks.Comment

Canelo won wide for sure, but it looked like a very laborious fight every single round. 118-109 sounds right. But yeah, but this fight looked like a one-sided version of Gatti-Ward.
And my prediction was Canelo by decision, 7-5 or 8-4, I wasn’t expecting a KO, or even KD’s. Despite winning more rounds that I predicted, and seemingly getting a couple of KD’s, one not counted, Canelo looked worse than I expected.Comment
