If Calzaghe had remained a SMW then the Super 6 would never have happened. There would have been no point with a dominant fighter at the top of the division.

Of course, he went up to LHW, so maybe both were possible after all.

I was hoping to see a Calzaghe v Paul Williams clash at some point. If The Punisher keeps winning while moving up, that would be a good money fight for Joe, seeing that's the only way he'll fight again.

It was fitting for Joe to finish up fighting a washed up Jones. That pretty much sums up the type of fighter he was all throughout his whole career.
