    I wish Calzaghe didn't quit.

I am not even a Calzaghe fan, but I wish he didn't retire. I mean ****, he finished off his career by beating up a washed up RJJ. I think he could of done better. He could of at least had a rematch vs Mikkel Kessler, or fought the winner of Bhop vs RJJ? He could of even fought Kelly Pavlik, Jermain Taylor, Carl Froch, AA, Chad Dawson, Adamek if he wanted to. A lot of people call Joe an ATG, but I personally think he did the same thing Floyd did, hung up his gloves to early. Who knows, maybe he will be back in the future. Hopefully not to late though.

    What do you guys think?

Why not? Fighters learn from their mistakes. I think Kessler is worthy of a rematch. He is a good fighter.

Calzaghe's options would have been, Chad Dawson, B-Hop rematch or get in that SMW tourney. Just when things alot of options opended up, he left. I still say, Calzaghe would have beaten Dawson.

True...but he only would have been deserving of a rematch if he did some big things since the 1st fight...he's captured a title but he's fighting no names...

Dawson cudda been interesting tho...Calzaghe would own Johnson IMO...

A rematch with Bernard would have been interesting(although nobody would wanna see that again)...

Calzaghe in the SMW tourney would have been sick. I agree that he would have beat Dawson.

Cazaghe vs Dawson would have been a good fight. Entry in the Super Six would have been great also. I think he'd win it, but would be nice to see him against all the other top SMW. I think he should have at least fought Dawson though. Would have been perfect. Legendary champion vs up and coming star.

I think as of right now, Mikkell and Abraham have a good chance at taking the tournment. He could of fought one of these guys. And I am curious to why you think nobody would want to see the Bhop vs Calzaghe rematch? I actually wouldn't mind seeing a rematch between these two fighters. And Dawson would of been interesting for sure.

I still don't understand why Calzaghe retired. Just like I don't understand why Floyd retired. It seems like every time one of these great fighters leave, options open up, and it gets the fans thinking about possible fights for that fighter.
