Yup. True indeed including the Baldomir analogy. He still fighting nobodies though. I'm trying to get Horus to say who he wants pbf to fight ( except pac which I believe is really pbf's target ) because he is dismissing Mosley/Cotto like flies. When is fact, those are the top 2 rated WW in my book. IMO, Pbf , in his win against jmm, should not be rated above those 2 yet.
What the Hell is Floyd Doing at 147?

Actually, the PPV was more than 1 million. HBO is trying to shortchange our beloved Money May. I heard from reilable sources that That the PPV is 12 Million excluding the 100 million people that watch the fight in the movie theater.Comment

No, I understand what you're saying. But it's usually the same few cats saying it. Just as it's the same few of you guys saying the same tired **** in thread after thread. Just as they appear to be nuthugging to the full extent, you come off as a hater. I say, give the guy time. Let's see who he fights next. JMM was a tune up, we all knew that. Let's see what the future holds. I'll be the first one lining up to give Floyd **** in the event that Pac, Cotto, or Mosley is not his next fight.

Then you can't read John. Hence the quotes, it's just mockeries homey. Hell, look right here in this thread G. They know what I say, I know what they say. There's a pattern if you ain't notice. You see right now, I'm purposely ****in around. My serious thoughts on this are the same, and have been for months.
"WW's should fight WW's. **** these ******ass catchweights. If he fought SSM and the Pac-Cotto winner, nobody can say ****."
"No! That's bull****! They'll say SSM was old, Pac was small, and Cotto was shot! There's always an excuse to discredit him! The amount of hate he gets is unbelievable! Haters!"
If you ain't seen this convo a billion times, you blind my ******.Comment

Well... who would you have him fight? The named fighters except pac with reasonable range of pbf is cotto and mosley. Would you have him fight Bhop,RJJ,Calzaghe ( so they can settle who is the greater undefeated fighter )? I do not care for those fights as they are really not plausible. It would be a show rather than a fight. As a fan, I would rather have him face Clottey/Williams than those named fighters. Will he take the necesary risk to give us fans/himself a great fight
the problem is people want floyd to get into wars....and what kind of standard in it self is that to judge somebody on...?
I mean Floyd is always in a no win situation.
Why bleed and cut it you don't have too?
I don't blame Floyd for not wanting to be punch drunk.
Floyd is tryng to give us competitive fights..but his opponents dont have the skill to make it competitive...
including the #2 p4p in the world
Who fault is it that Maquez chose not to do what he said he was going to do. WHICH WAS FIGHT BALLS OUT AND THROW 5 AND 6 PUNCH COMBINATIONS.
Marquez could have made this fight competitive by being a warrior and selling out like casitillo and chavez did..
But he didnt... and tryed to box and got outclassed.
THE 1 HUGE PROBLEM THAT I SEE ALL FLOYD FANS SHARE IS THIS:
Floyd fans have no problem with floyd fighting Other WW's...
The problem is that People saying he can ONLY fight Welterweights for it to be a legitimate fight and win, when he himself is not really a welterweight compared to the rest of the welterweights...
People say all he has to fight a real WW and nobody else..!!!
thats what make floyd fans feel like people are being hypocritical....
and plus..
Floyd has already become lineal WW champion of the world.
At the end of the day I do not require Mayweather to stay in 1 division and fight every up and comer their is ....Because he has already did that at 130.
when he stayed there for 27 fights.
As of Right Now.
I just want to see Mayweather fight Big Names reguardless the weight class.
from 140-160 i just dont care about him being in 1 division.
I just want him to enhance his legacy by making history.
History would be if he went and got himself a middleweight title
History would be if he went and became a lineal champion @ 154
History would be if he went and became a lineal champion @ 140
Those are the kind of fights i want to see him in.
Because at the end of the day every division has a Joshua Clottey and a Miguel Cotto. But every division does not have a Juan Manuel Marquez, or a Manny Pacquiao.
and I want to see Mayweather fights with proven great fighters reguardless the weightclass.Comment

Hopefully he faces them now man, personally i want to see him face pac/cotto winner. Marquez was just the tuneup, honestly wat other options outside of Pac/Mosley/Cotto do you see next? he faces one of them 100% .Yup. IMO, Pbf , in his win against jmm, should not be rated above those 2 yet.Comment

Have you ever thought that this isn't all about Floyd , but also about his fans.Im agreeing with you. Notice I put "so called WW's". Im just saying people keep making posts that say floyd is scared of real WW's and floyd only fights for the money and he doesnt take the risks. And Im saying "to those people" if you dont like it than dont watch it. Dont order it. Dont go to it". I wanted him to take on shane pac or cotto when he cameback and he didnt. I didnt like the fact that he went after JMM. So I took my own words and didnt watch it. Im with you. Im not bashing floyd at all. Im simply saying that if people dont like what he is doing than dont watch. Dont give him your money until he fights the and I will say it again SO CALLED WW's.
I think its about a fighter proving himself in equal terms. If they talk trash back it up, but with the truth, no silly games. If he does bravo, but times has flied by and its all the same sht. Nothing wrong with everyone proving their points, but in a respectful, honorable manner. Don't you want to see the most competitive fights possible. Now were seeing fights that are normally just played on a video game. If the little guy loses he proves how great he is if the big guy wins no big surprise there.Comment

Outside of pac, I'm hesitant to say because of pbf's history in welterweights. Hoping though. And you are right, I do not foresee any fights that would garner interest other than those 3.Comment
