Yeah, that seems made up and pulled out of the poster's ass. I don't remember 2nd-tier fighters having rights to have rematch clauses. Could be true, though, but it sounds far-fetched.

Villa vs Ennis should not be so hard to make. And nobody knows what's keeping them so long to announce it. Where is Coppinger?

It's possible Roiman Villa and Rashidi Ellis are signed to Haymon and Al want the rematch, and Showtime's Espinoza can't do anything about it.

If that is the case, then Haymon should let the Ennis vs Villa happen, and force the winner to fight Ellis. If not, then Ennis should start looking for other fights.

Problem is, PBC has all of the damn welterweights and has them all sitting on their asses. It's pathetic.
What does a mean machine win do for Boots? Absolutely nothing more than a Lipinets win

Crawford, Spence or Ortiz should be next

Anyone else is a step back

None of those WILL be next though, and you know it. Mean Machine scalp would be his best win since Custio. It's a step up over his previous fight, and most of his opponents IMO.

I'm sick of guys just taking bull**** fights once they're in line, and PBC needs to keep these guys active too.

Plus, Spence is finished IMO. And if you mean Virgil Ortiz, his Rhabdo may keep him from even finishing a training camp again.

Then they need to give him the belt if they're not next

Mean machine does absolutely nothing for Ennis. In fact, aftet Boots whoops him guys like you will then talk crap about how he needs to step up

Why would I talk crap about him? I'm a fan of Boots. It's why I want to see him against better guys.

And they gave him the IBF interim belt, which is huge because last I checked, IBF doesn't do that. He's next in line to fight Spence...apparently, because last I checked so is Crawford, Thurman and Crowley.

Again, another reason to keep these guys active. Have them fight eachother.

But it was an option that was presented to Villa.
Instead his team is pushing for Boots.

That still doesn't clarify anything. So Rashidi Ellis was presented to Villa. By whom? Al Haymon?
