That's the problem with this fight. Lara due to his declining age and health; No longer has those legs to move anymore. Which is the main reason why Danny Garcia wants this fight.

In addition and with the cherry on top; He also wants a 40 something year old man to cut weight to fight him at a catchweight below a 160 lbs. It just makes one wonder why he never fought Mayweather or Pacquiao in their primes?

He can see the corrosion in Lara skills and that he can no longer move like he used to. Who does "Swift" thinks he's fooling? He is taking this fight because he is confident that his cherry-picking ass would win.

There is no question that they are banking that Lara is aging out and they might be able to catch up to him. But with Danny very little movement disrupts him plus Lara is naturally bigger. I like both fighters but this is an in-house fight and it is pretty meaningless.

Well we'll just have to see. Only time will tell.

I really like Danny Garcia. He's had a great career. Both these guys are old but Lara is just bigger and this is gonna be a toss up. I see Danny winning a decision.

Lara has no more legs and Garcia has no power at 154. Meaningless fight and last money grab for both. Shameful, but hey, money is money.

I know. The guy sucks at 147 even. Hasn't had a meaningful win in years.

Danny Garcia should fight Erislandy Lara at his current weight division of 160 for the WBA middleweight title.

Anywhere below that is both cruel and inhumane. Danny’s aim is try to weight drain Lara in order to secure a KO victory.
Danny doesn't have the speed nor power above 140 to KO anyone halfway decent. That's why his career has ground to a halt.

So they made a business decision that to sell a MW title fight it has to be Lara and Danny. Say what you want but they have two of the best resumes in boxing at 140 - 154. Danny is 35 and Lara is 40. Two relatively young men (not 20 and 25 I get it). Enjoy this non PPV fight fellas. WTF are you so mad about?

Lara is too much for danny even at 40 yr old, but interesting fight if confirmed. Zerafa is meh...
