No clue how Danny gets a shot at the mw title but let’s not act like this isn’t a regular occurrence in boxing. Somehow Amir Khan got a shot at the mw title once despite never winning a title at 147 and never fighting at 154. Margarito once got a shot at a jmw title coming off a cheating scandal, a recent ko, and accomplishing nothing in the weight class. Boxing is full of guys getting undeserved opportunities. 2 weeks ago we had a 0 time world champion headlining a Ppv. This weekend we have another 0 time world champion headlining a Ppv. This is the unfortunate state of this sport and it’s not likely to change.

In what weight class? Danny has had 1 fight at 154 (did not look great) and Lara fights at 160. Neither is subject to a title fight in any weight, especially Garcia in either weight.

It says in the article, it's a catchweight between 154 and 160 - so probably Caneloweight (155-156) I'm guessing.

Anyway, this feels like a boring fight. Lara's been more aggressive lately but it's still Lara, and Swift is a counter puncher, not an aggressor.

Hopefully, this fight is not at a catchweight and is at 160. Danny Garcia's cowardly ass is synonymous for targeting gatekeepers and journeymen throughout his entire career.

Why the fuck doesn't he fight someone who is good like: A contender, contemporary or someone in his own weight class? Lara fights at 160 not 154. He's targeting Lara because now he is both old, vulnerable and weak.

What is the point Garcia has problems with Boxers and Lara is that and much bigger

Lara has slowed down considerably over the years; Largely due to his loss of legs. His body is aging. The only reason why "Swift" is challenging Erislandy now is because he no longer has his legs; Which makes him more vulnerable and hittable to hit.
