You are absolutely correct. He was too overconfident and ran into a buzz saw. Good post!

This has been one of Tank's biggest name opponents on record. The PPV buys showed he was near something - win or lose. Tank didn't sell this fight by himself.

then you fire the trainer, alluding to the fact the trainer should not have allowed Ryan to enter a fight under these conditions.
        Your mom is a what?

It amazes me how you keypad gangsters are always slick with the words online. Whatever happened to respectful debates, punk.

        That's an imaginative narrative, btw.

Stevenson is stating the obvious. Garcia is popular but not elite.

Conversely, Tank Davis is elite but his resume is weak because Garcia was supposedly his toughest opponent to date. Team Davis saw Ryan Garcia as the least risk/highest reward fight. No brainer, really.

Haney will likely beat Loma, so I don't think Shakur will get Haney. I think this fight is Haney's last with Top Rank? He'll probably go to 140 to see what's shakin' there and get the best deal with or without TR. If Loma beats Haney, then Arum would drool for a Loma-Stevenson fight to make a star out of Stevenson.

Stevenson comes out on top eventually. I think he's the best of the current crop. Very slim chance of happening, but I hope Stevenson-Davis gets made, nonetheless.

Most of these clowns' "toughest fights" are a joke. Just shows these guys are built differently now, far inferior to the previous gen of boxers.
