Tim is right. On one knee, Ryan made a judgement call. He knew if he got up, he would most likely get brutally KO'd, and he decided that quitting was the only way to avoid that brutal KO

This is exactly what it appeared like to many of us. Tank was going to knock Ryan's mouth piece right out of his mouth, and leave him laying on the canvas.
Ryan had already tasted the power of Tank's fist's, and decided that discretion was the better option rather than valor. He chose to not go out on his proverbial shield.
