Most pro fighters picked Tank by KO and they were right. Ryan jumped in and got countered early by an excellent counterpuncher who then picked Ryan apart. Good try by Ryan but he was outclassed.

So someone who is knocked out -- unconscious -- also quits?

It is not the worst quit. Body blows not only they have a delayed reaction, it lingers.

They slipped another excuse in that piece thought. Now Garcia had a lingering injury to add to the list of excuses.

I stopped reading when this story started " Hall of Fame fighter" I didn't even know Bradley was in the HOF. HOF based on what? A controversial win against PAC? I remember when in order to get into the HOF you actually had to do something special. The only thing Bradley does special is run his big mouth on ESPN.....

Let's be honest, this was Gatti far removed from his better self. He never was good at the higher weights though cmon, also seriously lacking in boxing technique. He looked like a boxing saint vs C fighters. No way he had a chance against Mayweather at a boxing standpoint, let alone a higher weight. That said, it was somewhat a corner decision with Gatti. He didn't quit during the match despite being in the ring with the wrong opponent for him.

Gatti did show he was resilient as hell against most brutal punchers in his prime though.

I told y'all way b4 the fight, that there's no way in hell that a pretty dude with hair gel that wears long ass pointy toed velvet hard bottom shoes and paisley shirts with his chest exposed was gonna beat Tank. It just didn't make logical sense. Ryan had to lose, for the good of the universe. If he woulda beat Tank, that would've been a victory to metrosexuals and bisexuals everywhere. Hell no, not happening

                    Absolutely correct.

King Ryan is a brand first and for the sake of the franchise he made the decision at the right time to preserve his brand. Tim was never the biggest, fastest or most gifted he was more often the most determined. Like it or not, Ryan Garcia is the epitome of boxing in 2023.

cryin taking names like the henman benn is doing, all those dis'in him will get it back good at some point, the full force of social media will be unleashed on them at a point of cryins choosing, the problem he has tho is that his legions of fans are also wondering if he quit too.......bit of a problem

i think he will be ok with a good win or two, thats if he is committed to the sport at all now, 50/50 i would say
