We need more round robins. Like the super middleweight tourney Ward won. I still dream about that epic tourney! What a great thing it would be to sort out the divisions, especially a loaded division like 140.

They did do one @ 140. That's when Taylor beat Prograis. Ramirez didn't join the tourney! Wouldn't be as good if Top Rank won't participate.

Do we know how long Taylor has with TR? Taylor's main reason for going to TR was the Crawford fight...and that ship has SAILED long ago. If he beats Teofimo, his days with TR are numbered. Teo's mouth has potentially gotten him in trouble with TR and ESPN. If he beats Taylor, he'll potentially jump ship ASAP and go after Garcia/Davis (i.e. chase the $$$). Haney is on his last fight with TR, correct? Haney is at TR because that was the only way he'd get the Kambosos fight. He may go right back to being a free agent. Ramirez and Barboza appear to be securely anchored to TR, because both are using the money excuse to avoid title shots and eliminators. Essentially, TR's 140 stable could be turned upside down by the end of the year.

Matias is a boogeyman, nobody seems to be itching to fight him. Gary Russell played himself by avoiding Puello, and has no fight scheduled. Thanks to Russell, fxcking Rolly Romero is getting a title shot! Lipinets is the PBC equivalent of Commey/Pedraza; his sole purpose is to keep the contenders busy. I hope Ergashev takes the title eliminator against Paro, so 140lb can start getting organized.

140lb is filled with good fighters, but it is a hot mess.

Paro doesn't want to fight Ergashev, which is why he's going the WBO route! Russell did play himself! Very disappointed, but not as much as I am with Puello! TR might fall off, but I don't think they will. Teo has talked about leaving b4, before the Kambo fight, then he signed an extension!

Ergashev is with Salita, right? Salita seems to be building a relationship with DAZN. Hopefully that makes Paro/Ergashev easier to make. Even if Paro didn't want to face Ergashev before, he'll have to if he wants a title shot. Maybe Hearn/Salita can speak to the IBF/WBO and see if the match-up counts as an eliminator for both sanctioning bodies.

I just want the IBF to stop the search, and just let us get Matias vs. Ergashev...ASAP!

I just read Mammoth's thread. More proof that Matias is indeed a boogeyman. Matias is gonna have to fight one unknown contender after another before he gets someone notable. It won't surprise me if he loses soon.

Wouldn't surprise me if Matias moved to 147!

                    Seriously,
why would Regis get stuck with a 5 fight deal with TR?
How many stars stuck with TR?
Look at TR's history with great fighters, they all left to start their own promotion company.
Bob won't let you do that. Too controlling.
It won't be long to see Stevenson leave TR to be his own man.
Crawford stayed too long, now look at his career.
Prograis is doing the right thing
Plus he gets Haney very soon.

Regis gonna fight Catteral now, since Taylor ducked the rematch,
                      How did Teo duck regis?
