There's something about a fighter going face to face and wearing sunglasses that don't seem right.
It's like he don't trust himself to make eye contactimage.png

Loma actually struggles to fight on the back-foot, something Haney is a natural at. Haney’s faster, better defence, has better timing & has a higher IQ. Doesn’t need 5/6 rounds to ‘download’ an opponent.
I look forward to seeing Haney actually counterpunch for once. He's never demonstrated that he's a smart fighter.

This fight would come down to a battle of wills vs skills. The man who wants it the most is going to win this fight. Loma needs to get off to a fast start and set both the tone and pace early; By getting inside and making it a fire fight.

If he does it, then I like his chances of winning this fight. If he doesn't; Then Haney should win this one hands down. I can see him controlling both the pace, distance and tempo of this fight with his jab.

My final prediction; Haney by majority decision victory.

I think Lomachenko has the edge in will and a huge edge in skill.

Skills I can agree with. Will, not so much; Why? It's because he pissed away the first seven rounds of his fight against Teofimo Lopez due to inactivity and a reluctance of taking risks against him.

If he does that, then it's going to be a rough ride for him because that's when Devin's prevent defense will kick in. Haney would pitch a virtual shut out if he starts too late. He'll keep Loma at bay all night long with his jab.

Hi tech would have trouble getting on the inside to land his punches.

Haney is a top fighter in his weight class. However, IMO, Haney ‘s chin is very suspect. I don’t see Haney beating Tank or Shakur. Loma is past his prime. With over 300 amateur fights alone, I think it’s time for Loma to hang ‘‘em up. Haney by split decision.

Would be something if he did lose to Lomachenko though.

If Lomachenko showed up like he did vs Walters type of motivation?

Would be a match for the ages.

Haney’s old man is almost in the same category as the buffon fathers of Teo, Danny, and Benevidez. Not quite as ignorant as those 3 but close.
