If he isn’t a smart fighter than Teo, Loma & Kambosos must be 4th graders. You’ve never seen Haney counter-punch?

Not much. Maybe an occasional check hook. It's not really his game plan. He jabs and times single shots.

This guy is not as good as some people think he is. He may beat Loma at this point in his career but he's won't beat Tank or Shakur. If he gets hit by Tank with the lefts Jo Jo landed he would be sleeping for a week. Shakur would pick him apart. Loma may even still give him a beating to be honest if he puts pressure on from round 1 like he did to Campbell. If he sits around 5 rounds he will lose a 8-4 decision.

Why you think this dude is so special? he does nothing extraordinary. He's solid but he's not special in any way

If he does that, then it's going to be a rough ride for him because that's when Devin's prevent defense will kick in. Haney would pitch a virtual shut out if he starts too late. He'll keep Loma at bay all night long with his jab.

Hi tech would have trouble getting on the inside to land his punches.
Lopez has pop in his punches. Haney doesn't. Loma might well KO Haney who seems to have a soft chin based on the Linares fight. And in that fight Haney threw the kitchen sink at Linares and would not even scratch him so Loma will likely be able to get close and land some shots and then it will be interesting to see how Haney reacts. Haney has beaten Linares but the fought scared the whole rest of the fight after getting wobbled and his best win is Kambosos who has beaten Lopez and no one else. This is the first real test for Haney.

Also if it's true that Loma was injured in that fight, which might or might not be the case, Haney might be in for a surprise. So far in his career Haney has been gifted everything, including the undisputed championship. The one time he faced adversity he looked pretty lost.

Ofc it looks like Haney is gonna jab'n'grab all night and likely the ref will allow it as per usual. But if this turns into an actual fight it could be entertaining.

I get Haney is selling the fight. If I were him, since ESPN will surely market it, I would say less and focus on the win.

Loma is a live dog. No need to rile him up.
