Ike Ibeabuchi would have been the heir to the throne after Lewis.

Tua out slugged Ike, Ike's lucky to have gotten the decision. It was a great fight though.

Ibeabuchi is a mentally unstable lunatic. You won't see him around again.
He makes past Tyson look civilized.

            believe me. holyfield knew better.
Sorry but I dont buy that. Holyfield went on to fight Lewis a few years after Tyson too, I highly doubt he was reluctant to fight Tua. He would have handled Tua like he handled Tyson (as long as he didnt try to slug it out), except a UD instead of a TKO

The holyfield of the early 00's? yeah Ike would have murked him. Not only was Holyfield shot by that time, he was also nursing a bad shoulder injury.

Holy had a damn interesting career. Not many fights but lots of top names, lots of wars. Some bad decisions like brawling with Bowe in the first fight but then he boxed in the 2nd and won. The Moorer loss was the end of his prime IMO, the shoulder injury he sustained and the layoff, wasn't the same after. Then he looked well and truly done when Bowe stopped him, has a revival and looks good vs Tyson, then a couple years later fights Lewis twice, and that was all she wrote, from then on it's been straight downhill for Holy, he shoulda retired after Lewis.

                Ike beat a one-dimensional Tua, and a fun-size HW.

Klitschko mops the floor with Ike. His footwork was non-existent and he's not that quick either.

To beat Klitschko you need to chase him quickly, like that SA guy.

Ike was much too slow for Klitschko, both physically and mentally. Fight ends via brutal KO, Klitschko is a throne huger.

(and who the **** is Ike? seriously...)

not enough money for how tough a tua fight would've been.

maybe prime holyfield would've outboxed tua. i doubt the past prime version of the 2000's would have.

Oh the 2000's version? Yeah i'd give Tua a reasonable chance then, Evander hit a real ugly slide around that time, with the injury and all the hard fights. He looked done after bowe 3 tbh back in 95, had no legs in that fight....maybe he really was suffering from hep A as he claimed, because he came back and looked better vs Tyson and okay vs Lewis.

                      yeah the 2000's version.

tua wouldn't have deserved a shot at holy 'til then.

prime 208 lb. holy would have outboxed fat boy obviously and with holy's great beard i doubt tua can get a lucky ko against holy. it'd still be a close ud for holy because holy will engage some rounds.

the late 90's and early 2000's holy was too inactive in parts and would give tua his opportunities in the fight.
