Ike Ibeabuchi would have been the heir to the throne after Lewis.

I was at the Tua/Ike fight here in Sacra and damn i miss HW fights like that....

For all the skill and talent the Klit bros have, they just dont excite anyones interest unless you put an arreola, haye, povetkin etc., in front of them..

VKlit did his job on saturday, and i cant take anything away from him, but i dont want to see a hw champ dance around the ring. I wanna see him ktfo of his opponent. Thats what the hw division is all about, imo
Not a fan of Ali then?

i don't think he would've been the HEIR to Lewis' throne. I think Ike would've stormed right on through, and probably given us a great trilogy with lewis, or at least two quality fights. at the time a match up between lewis and ibeabuchi would've set the boxing world on fire and probably would've kept the HW division alive for a few years longer.

Ike was a beast, through and through, extremely talented, well trained, great conditioning, guy would throw 100 punches damn near a round and had a granite chin. although, they said that his mental state wasn't the same after fighting Tua. reports have said that he was never in the right frame of mind after taking 12 rounds of shots from Tua. by looking at that fight, who the hell would be the same, those guys were hurting each other out there like no other...............

had ibeabuchi not gone to jail, he might have been one of the longest reigning champs in boxing history............. the guy was no joke.........

        ******ED FANTASY THREAD

        Ike was nothing special

        - Medicore Tua whooped his ass and got robbed

        - Byrd was doing well and winning until he got caught

        - Ike's power was overrated, he only had 14 KO's in 20 wins....Vitali has 37 KO's in 38 wins....Wlad has 47 KO's in 53 wins.

Overrated Ike would get outclassed and beatdown by either Klitschko.

the tua fight was close, could've gone either way, tua let off the gas in the last two rounds, which cost him, at least from how i scored it, great fight watch it quite often.

byrd wasn't doing well at all, it was a matter of time before he got stopped. i'm a byrd fan, especially at the time when they fought, and if doing well is constantly moving and not landing, then good on ya for that one.

his percentage could be higher, but doesn't make him a feather fist, anyone can rack up a high ko percentage fighting mediocre opposition, countless fighters have done it, and you might be able to throw the klits in there too, because i know that when they were coming up neither one of them were fighting world beaters, besides, both have quit before on the stool, and have lost before, ibeabuchi is/was undefeated, which means nothing to me, but it also means nothing to compare the fighter of old who is incarcerated vs the active klitschkos....

and to sum it all up, the klitschkos probably would have beaten ibeabuchi if they fought, because by the time they actually stepped into the ring with him, he would've more than likely been at the end of his career...........

and that would've been another " tough one " for the klitschko's had that happened.
