Comments Thread For: Yordenis Ugas Praises Ryan Garcia: "Shame Is Taking Care Of A Perfect Record Without Risking It"

Prior to sauntering his way through the arena, Ryan Garcia was praised for his willingness to take a gigantic step up in class. Mostly viewed as a pretty face with overstated skills, Garcia (23-1, 19 KOs) was anxious to change the narrative surrounding his career.

And boxers saying this should mean a lot more to Ry than fans saying the opposite.

I follow Ugas on twitter and have to say, he is one of the most sincere and genuine fighters out there. Always spreading love and positive energy, never has anything negative about anyone.

So many fans scream for fighters to make big fights. Call them cowards, say they do not care when they do not. Then many of these same "fans" throw around the terms exposed, overrated, and scrub when they do and have the gall to lose.

I respect people who fight. It is what this sport needs. Garcia is by no means done. He just now knows that he has work to do.

I don't think he is ashame, he keeps fighting nobodies and he is proud of it.

Most boxers knew Ryan was going to lose. The only ones that thought he could win are his casual fans.

I think it would be smart for Ryan Garcia to train under Salas who is connected to Ugas, Mendoza,Robeisys all of them were fighters that came back from losses.

It was rough for 6 rounds. Ryan stuck threw it until he took a shot that destroyed his body.

Is Ryan a great boxer? I think we can all agree he isn't, but to act like protecting your health is a cowardly thing to do is such a weak insecure mentality.
It's always the fake "tough" guys that talk about quitting when they can't even take a punch from a crackhead.

Ryan gained far more then Tank did in the outcome of this fight..

Ryan has changed boxing and is the new face, the numbers don’t lie.

Tank would have been better off simply facing Ryan without the rehydration nonsense
