Gervonta Davis defeated Ryan Garcia on Saturday and is already thinking about the next fight, according to his manager Calvin Ford, his best bet would be a rematch against the Mexican boxer Isaac 'Pitbull' Cruz. Ford believes that Pitbull Cruz is a much bigger challenge than 'King Ry' was

"I would say, Pitbull," Ford responded in an interview with ES NEWS when asked about which fight he preferred whether this rematch or the winner between Devin Haney and Vasyl Lomachenko. I will always say Pitbull," he replied...

His career is actually over. He just did beat the best opponent he could ever beat.

He gets destroyed at 140 by huge dossers. They also have high output.

At 135, Shakur and Loma make him silly. Haney has a chance as well.

He is close to 30 and is in past prime limit physically.

Tank has a chance against all those guys but it also wouldn't be surprising if he lost to all of them either. Any one of those guys you named would be the best opponent he ever faced so far. 30 isn't always past prime though. Some boxers can hit their prime around that age because they gained experience yet still retain speed and power.

I'll definitely watch, both are fan friendly for sure.

besides, I can't think of a way he can contractually muzzle the Pitbull

I'd watch it but if I were Cruz's advisor I'd tell him to get a tune up in first.

Great match up based on the last fight and it'd make a statement for Davis just to take it again because of how close the last one was.
Similar to Floyd rematching Castillo and Maidana. Although he didn't rematch De La Hoya but that's another story.
