I consider his wins over Garcia, Pedraza, Leo, and H.Garcia very good wins.

They just weren’t ranked in the Top 5 in the division being fought in. That’s just a fact of the matter.
The Santa Cruz win was a joke, to be honest. Santa Cruz's only fight at 130 prior to that was a vacant title fight against an unranked opponent. He was a 126 guy that peaked at 122 who was dragged up to 130 specifically to get sacrificed to Tank. And the WBA let him keep his 122 belt for 3 years without defending it just so PBC would have a credible name to feed Davis.

I can see the argument but personally I don’t agree.

Leo is a top fighter and yeah I can see his title win being questionable but at the end of the day he was reigning champion, and he is a quality fighter.

But I see your argument for sure but for me Leo even at 130 lbs is a good win. But that’s just my opinion,

Haney taking on all smoke at 24. Tank is picking and choosing every hispanic in boxing and he damn near 30.

Time for Gervonta to fight the champ at 135 or 140. No more picking around the champs.

Santa Cruz is a great fighter but beating Miguel Flores at 130? That dude got knocked out by Dat Nguyen who is now fighting for 5000 bucks a night in BKFC. Even with that win neither the TBRB nor Ring Magazine gave Leo any consideration for a top 10 ranking in the division. To me it would be like pulling Mauricio Lara all the way up to fight Haney at 135 and then calling that a good win for Haney. Just way too big of a size difference.

You understand how boxing weight classes work, right?

                  Lightweight is 135 and under.

Anything above 135 is not Lightweight.

                  You understand that, right?
