let me explain. if you score the round for garcia but he gets knockdown it is a 9-9 round since he will lose 1 point for getting knockdown but what you cant do is giving a 10-10 in no case. if you get knockdown you lose a point if tank knocks him down twice it is a 10-7. you got it? but all this said in boxing you always give the round to the guy with the knockdown unless he got beaten up verybad the whole round and hurt multipletimes close to getting stopped but this never happens thats why we score it always 10-8 but a 10-9 or 10-10 is not possible at all unless they changed the scoring system

You do not lose a point for a knock down, where does it say that? Though yes that is expected.

You can't end 9-9 unless there are deductions.

It'sa 10 point must system so one fighter has to end with 10 points unless there are deductions.

If one fighter clearly and convincingly wins a round but gets a flash knock down, they may be lucky to get away with a 10-10.

These score cards show nothing but pure corrupting ala Canelo style scorecards. Good on Gervonta for getting the KO.

I made a post about this after the fight. Moretti is straight up crooked and paid for. There is no way in hell as a judge you "forget" a knockdown. Boxing is so goddamn corrupt. He should never be allowed to judge a fight again

Unfortunately, GBP has more a say of who judges. And they like his work just fine

Something funny about these cards. Corruption can't be that blatant!

I'm going to guess whoever transcribed the cards messed up. But now they're going to have to address them. You can't leave 3 incorrect cards hanging out there like this.

Dave Moretti again? At least he's consistent. Nothing will happen if NSAC and the sanctioning bodies don't investigate. At least have him go public and explain. Maybe educate the public on how the rules go in scoring fights. But seriously, if none of that happens, all fans will think is he is as corrupt as it gets. Surely he would want to clear his name, right?
