    Ok, I see your point. 15 pounds is a lot to overcome... but
    Tszyu could win.

      We are talking about the 168 lbs division not 154.

        Please keep Morrell ACTIVE! We should be seeing him every 3 months until an opponent gives him some stiff resistance.

          I was very impressed by Morrell's performance. However, I still think he needs more professional experience before challenging David Benavidez. There are levels to boxing and it just so happens that the "Mexican Monster" is a few levels above David Morrell at this point of their careers.

            A few levels? Maybe Benavidez is a notch up, but you’re implying he’s loads better than Morrell. I don’t know about that. The Cuban had a lot of amateur experience prior to turning pro, where he’s tearing through some decent opposition in a short professional career. True, fighters can be exposed when they level-up, and Morrell needs several more fights before he’s truly ready, but I don’t see a tremendous gap between he and Benavidez.

                  It goes without question that Morrell has more than enough ability to defeat Benavidez. My one only concern is that with only nine fights under his belt as a professional;

                  He could use a bit more experience and seasoning before challenging David Benavidez that's all. Don't worry however; With time he will get there. Those two are going tangle sooner or later.

                    Lol morrell is a big 168 pounder ,he would absolutely kill 154 Tim. Not even debatable.

                      I don't see that big of a gap, actually Morell jr
                      skipped the padding record bum of the month, and went straight from the get go to fight opponents that others will be fighting at their 15 or 16 fight. Check his record, only one with a losing record. Imo he has a good chance of beating benavidez, the thing is besides benavidez, who is there willing to fight the Cuban? Be safe.
