I definitely don't see it as a generational fight. It is a big fight, nonetheless. Whoever wins will be moving up to a whole new level in terms of ticket-selling clout, but they still have a lot left to prove in the ring after this. This is a nice step up but it's still a few more steps to the top.Comment

It's a very big showcase fight indeed, for both.
The funny thing is, a fight between two more skilled guys, namely Shakur and Haney, wouldn't be as big a box office attraction.
Tank has had the better opposition than Ryan, clearly. He did show vulnerability of course, struggling for stretches against 'Pitbull' Cruz, and to a lesser extent, against Barrios.
Ryan called out loud for this fight, so this is his big chance, sink or swim.Comment

Yeah Oscar and Floyd aren't spring chickens and wouldn't even make 147.. It's like Floyd's kid fighting Oscar's kid to settle an old grudge.
Unless he means this is the final litmus test for online marketing after the other social media guy lost to Fury.
Step up for both but, Loma and Haney are on another level. Add Shakur and we'll see the winner Tank vs Ryan talking big fights and letting them marinate.Comment

I'm saying everybody should have rehydration clauses. Nomachenko, the machine and bias wanna-be boxing fans created the Haney situation. Noma should've fought Devin when he was mandatory instead of petitioning for french fries belt. Haney should be at 140 already, but the kid can't get a break. He has been begging for big fights buy Top Rank was playing keep away with their fighters, ow that he has the belts they say he hasn't fought anyone to get them. The goalposts keep being moved. Noma was p4p #1 now that Devin is about to fight him they discredit him so he doesnt get recognition. All of a sudden he is old, he is small, he isnt the "matrix" anymore. If Devin doesn't fight him they will say he ducked him. The kid's damned if he does and damned if he doesnt too.
I just think people make it up as they go along whether they want it or not if Lomachenko asked Haney for a rehydration clause he would get roasted into oblivion just people love tank right now so he has an army of defenders. I get it from Tanks point of view but no doubt it shows he's worried about Garcia.Comment

So easy to dismiss peoples opinions by just stating somebody is a fanboy or something im indifferent to loma if you can find a post of me ever fanboying loma then you would have a point. I actually like Haney he seems like a smart humble kid if it wasn't for his racist rhetoric "i will never lose to a white boy" i would be a real fan.

It doesn't change the fact Haney is going to out weight/size Lomachenko so much but nobody will say a word about it but everybody is on board with Tank doing it to Garcia to make it "fair" as i say boxing fans just make it up as they go along and the LDBC are the worst most racist bunch of boxing fans going who will never take any criticism against any black fighter.
Lomachenko did look like **** his last fight, he has been inactive that's just facts he should of fought Haney back in the day you right but he had nothing really to offer Loma who was going for all the belts.Comment

It is not a big fight. Two guys fighting each other at catchweight for no title.
Garcia should fight at 140 and Tank belongs to 135.
What is Garcia`s future plan, fighting lightweights at 136?Comment

Nothing to offer? He was his mandatory LOL... you guys switch logic on and off to suit uour own narratives. It's called prize fighting, and each and every fighter and their team bring their own leverage to the fight. Devin has all the belts that's his leverage, Lomo should in principle certify Devin's credentials - but we know loopholes are being established. Tank is the more accomplished and bigger draw, garcia has a big social media following. It's all about tangibles, what you bring to the table. Surely you see the logic?
