I say bring back same day weigh ins. I hate the rehydration clause but I also hate fighters coming in weigh over the day after weigh in. Squeezing down in weight just to get an advantage is bs imo

I read the headline and thought, well, Tank at least has the awareness to recognise the size of the fight is down to the combined appeal of them both facing each other, but then when you read his comments, you see his ego couldn't quite live with that and he had to try and belittle Ryan with the "on paper thing", which then undermines the original notion.

It was Tank who demanded the rehydration clause so he clearly thinks he has an advantage not allowing Ryan to rehydrate properly after the weigh in to his natural weight. Ryan had to say yes to all of Tank's terms in order to make the fight.

Davis is right here.Unbeaten fighters like these two , huge names in the sport normally avoid each other and talk silly money. Crawford and Spence to name but just two ! this fight has got everyone talking and nobody really that sure of the outcome . This is a throw back fight and the fighters and their promoters should be proud . Instead of sitting back and protecting their cash cows with easy fights and avoiding any danger at all costs ....Eddie!

id like same day weigh ins as well
but why its the day before i think that as long as they make weight they can re hydrate as much as they want
