Prime Nunn would have given Jones problems. Jones would win a UD though.

Yes, it's one of those great fights that never happened. Prime Nunn could outbox anybody, or so it seemed. Jones would have trouble beating him. Since he wouldn't have the speed advantage he normally had.
michael nunn is faster than roy?

Those three guys you mentioned could all take a hell of a shot. Hell, Del Valle weighed nearly 200lbs when Jones fought him. Furthermore, at that stage of his career, Nunn wasn't as good as Harding, possibly not Del Valle either.

So what are you saying that you agree with Sonnybox that Jones would of taken Nunn out, because that is what he was saying and why i brought them up.

No, I'm saying your example using those three enormous light heavies is flawed. Those guys were naturally stronger than Nunn and all could take a good shot. Hell, Del Valle's nickname of "Honey Boy" came from the gym where he was famous for having an iron chin. And I'd also say that the Harding that Jones fought was better than the LHW Nunn. Same with Del Valle. Do I think Jones would've stopped Nunn? Yes, I do.

Toney was no doubt coming on in that fight. It kills me when people act like he was not competitive before the KO.

Yeah, forreal. By the 9th I had the sense the KO was coming, only a matter of when.

                  Yeah,I agree.

People act like Nunn was way ahead in the fight.I had him ahead by 1 point.

Toney was definetely coming strong in the rounds prior to the KO.
