Uzcategui is usually durable and has a decent punch plus he's a former interim champ/title challenger. Shishkin is skilled but he's not a puncher it would be a 12 round fight where Morrell would win due to being just as skilled with more aggression and punching power. Meanwhile if he can dominate Uzcategui and possibly stop him that would be a fight against an opponent that could possibly hurt him as well.

Either one would be a good fight, there is a guy Lionel Thompson who beat Uzcategui also, that would be a good one too.

How many ko's does uzcategui has against recognized opposition? And thompson is not better than Aidos neither uzcategui. If they pit uzcategui against Morell jr, fans would be screaming. He ain't in his league and you know this, Morell jr has fought better competition than thompson and harder punchers. I can see uzcategui, but ain't going to last, durable doesn't translate to a good showing, Allen, Alantez, caceres, Henderson, even Aidos was a good looking prospect and all look durable, until they fought David Morell jr. You're not going to find a guy with 8 fight, facing those kind of fighters. Find me one, past or present that has that kind of opposition at 168lbs.

Then imagine what kind of credit he would get if he fights uzcategui.

Shiskin would be a good opponent for Morrell. If Morrell wins that fight I would give him credit.

The moment you said they aren't better than Aidos I stopped reading.

Good for you, is better that way, your opinion is worth more than mine, why? I really don't know. Truth be told, I don't understand you logic that fighting the loser, would be a better test than the one that won. I hope he fights uzcategui, just to se what happens. Be safe

Maybe you should do a bit of research if you want your logic to make sense. You said he should fight Shishkin but not Thompson? Why because Shishkin recently beat Uzcategui? You do realize this was after Thompson beat him right?

Are you talking about a guy that hasn't fought since 2019? The same guy that lost to kovalev in the 3rd round, granted, back then kovalev was in his prime and he(thompson) was younger, now thompson is past his prime, 37/38yo, and you think he would be a good test for a 25yo, hungry, faster, with excellent fundamentals and nasty punch, that can box your ears off, or go wild and knock you out, this is the guy, thompson, you want to see facing Morell jr? I think you're the one that should be doing a little bit of homework, or are you his manager? Be safe.

You don't know **** about boxing. Did you forget there was a pandemic? Thompson is a better fighter than Aidos, some unproven Kazakh who had no title fights and best win was someone who took Morrell the distance. You discredit him but give Aidos credit. Why is that? Who did Aidos fight? Who has Shiskin beat that makes him better than Thompson? Uzcategui? Oh wait we already been down that one nice try though.

You know when fighters actually fight good fighters they lose, maybe when Morrell finally fights a live body his 0 will be gone too, just like all the Cubans of the past.

I'm just going to laugh, yes I know about the pandemic, so? A lot of fighters fought during the pandemic, Morell jr. been one of them, still it is a fact that thompson hasn't fought in almost four years, and he's 37/38yo, the fact that you ask me to do my do diligence, without you doing yours is why I laugh. Not only the Cubans lose, everyone does it with time, you have to be good and lucky to finish a career with a 0 on the loss column. You're fixated with thompson because the first one, uzcategui, you really can't defend that one, and anyone with a little bit of brain, but with some boxing knowledge, knows thompson is just a keep busy fight for a fighter like Morell jr. And argument is like boxing, you win some, you lose some. Ask anyone if thompson could be a real test to the Cuban. I'm pretty sure you can find a better option than thompson, much better and younger. Common Kannabis, put down the pipe, and this is beside our difference in opinions about who is better, Aidos or thompson, who do you think will win, thompson or Morell jr.?
