Personally, I think a Joyce-Whyte fight is only interesting because Joyce lost. Had Joyce won then signed the Whyte fight, we would all just write it off as the stay busy fight it would be. Now, it would at least have the "can Joyce bounce back" narrative that makes it more interesting and maybe more lucrative.

Whyte should send Zhang a thank-you card and beg for this fight now. It is his best option unless Joshua wants him as another get well fight.
