Idk why he doesn't seem to b pursuing anyone tho, just sits around saying he's a headliner and everyone is ducking him. At least villa is a decent b-level name and would definitely his best win if the fight happens.
      Is Boots officially PBC now?

Jaron Boots is only signed to Showtime, not PBC. Espinoza has no control over Haymon. The saying "he who has the gold has the rules" is not always true. Espinoza is just a puppy on uncle Al's lap.

So now the fight is happening in July 8.

And this thread has become very relevant. And thus, I still maintain what the title suggests. Ellis is smaller and with shorter arms, and his fight with Villa was close with a slight margin because of the KD. And although I'm not against this clash, I would be surprised if Villa gets his hand raised here.

No possible way he gets his hand raised without a KO or at least 3 KDs. Still, stranger things have happened. This is Boots' 31st fight and is arguably his most dangerous. Is there a reason for this slow roll out?

I would agree with that, especially from a poster who'd rather focus on activity regardless of opponent's level. This is relatively late. But not everyone has the Muratalla mentality in this sport. Raymond accepted the Nakathila fight immediately after his last win. Only 2 months separate his last 2 fights. Five months difference.

Born in Venezuela, raised in Columbia, his nationality is listed as Colombian, though he lives in Venezuela

but, nothing with Argentina, so far as I know.

If I put it another way I'll say Ennis got the attributes Villa got like power, physical, but I can't say Villa got what Ennis got, not to mention size and reach. That's why I can't see this going in Villa's direction. But strange things happen, especially in boxing.

It's a solid fight. I remember after Villa beat Ellis a lot of people were calling for Boots to fight this guy. Now that it's happening some of those same people are complaining about it. So it's a no win situation for Ennis with some people. But it's still a legitimate solid fight
