And I'd pick Floyd to beat Barrera and Morales...neither of them wanna see the Floyd who fought at 130 and 135...
Picking Floyd to beat 2 of the big 4 at fw/sfw that Manny proved he can beat means nothing tbh. That's like saying I'd pick Wlad to stop Arce early it means nothing it's hearsay regardless of any possible outcome. Floyd never fought MAB or Erik, Manny did and won. Floyd has never had the big 3-4 like I said. But in his division Mosley and Cotto are about as close as it gets for him. As for PW if he did drop down which he has said many times he would for the right money you can't dismiss him entirely as a threat should Floyd lose his mind and accept a fight with a guy that would be his Floyd to Floyd's JMM.

Actually it does if Floyd had beat prime Morales at 130(the one Manny lost too) that would be impressive...

And when P. Will does drop down we can talk...he cudda fought Clottey

But Floyd does need to fight Cotto, Mosley, or Pac or it will leave a bad taste in the mouth of fans and will leave a damper on his career as a whole...

The biggest thing that stands out there is "if" Floyd fought Erik, he didn't and it's irrelevant when discussing the outcome of a fight that has/will never happen. Floyd vs Mosley/Cotto/PW are all still potential fights that COULD happen. Try not to focus on fights that never took place it's a moot point. Giving an opinion on a fantasy fight that never happened can be fun and interesting discussion, but we're not talking about that here at least in my main argument I was not. I'm not one to usually predict fantasy fights but when I do I stick to ones that COULD happen rather than ones that never have kinda like the Floyd-SRL discussion is a moot point also, right?

I know its fantasy but you said if Floyd had beaten the big 3 at those weights it would mean nothing cuz Manny proved he can beat them...and that's not true...

Especially when Pac lost the first fight to Morales...

I have at no point ever said Floyd would've have beaten any of the guys Manny did because it's irrelevant to the discussion the fights never happened at fw/sfw so let's get past the fantasy never have/will happen fights. And as for Manny losing to Erik look at the record again MAB, Erik, JMM Manny went 5-1-1 and the draw has been scrutinized many times for the blown 10-7 call in the first that would've given Manny the win. Erik beat him once by UD and Manny KO'd twice I think that ends the discussion on who was better. And before anyone mentions any crap about Erik being old Manny can't stop time and let Erik stay 30 forever. Manny stopped him twice the only 2 times he's ever been stopped in a fight. No one can argue that point it's part of a real history.

Some Floyd fans never get it....i am amaze at their ******ity.

DO YOU KNOW THAT MAB AND ERIC came from 122? If Floyd were to fight these greats he well nver get much credit as they are smaller than him, much smaller just like Marquez. He might earn the dollars but never the CREDIT. It doesn't need a genious to figure. Credit comes when overcoming adversary, not beating an outgunned an outsized opponent.

Now the TS was saying he didn't have ATG contemporaries at his weight class, and this is true, and it's also true that it NOT Floyd's fault. That is why he's not tested and he has a lot of doubters, coz no matter how good you look onscreen when you're beating oppenents not in your class, there is always doubt on how great you really are, there is no guage on how to judge how you will perform at the highest level.

Now since he doesn't have a rival on par of his skill, he should make it up by beating a lot more good/very good fighters, and this is where Floyd comes short. WW division has a LOT of good fighters during his time. Cotto, Mosley, MArg might not be ATG's (only Mosley), but they ARE LEGITIMATE threats and are the best WW around but what did he do? He shamelessly cames up with a million reasons not to fight them. It might be economic reasons, but if so then tell it like it is and not belittle your opponent coz that is your mouth running and not your fist talking. Get it now, nut-hugger?
