Is Warren the worst boxing promotor ever?

Well, one of his guys, Joyce, 100 old, beats the other his guy Dubois, a youngster.

Than this genius decides for the loser of this fight ( Dubois) to take an obvious and easier WBA route fighting American bum Bryan. The win over this bum put Dubois in pole position for Usyk.

The winner of the fight, 100 old Joyce must beat Parker for WBO mandatory position. Which puts him on the last place between 3 mandatories. Even more, Joyce is suggested to fight a very dangerous puncher Zhang as stay busy fight.

A am no sure what was Warren doing.. If he ever wanted to make Fury - Joyce ( that would be logical), he should have found some bum for Joyce`s stay busy fight.

He's a sneaky looking old sod that's for certain, I think he's been the mastermind behind a few bogus robberies and dodgy scorecards over the years. He seems to have a knack at producing built up records that get found wanting at world level.

Warren has options on Zhang now so he wins regardless. The promoters always seem to find a way to come out on top.

Brook/GGG and Canelo/Bivol were high-risk/high-reward match-ups. GGG/Brook seemed to be made out of desperation because Brook couldn't get sensible opponents in the ring. Canelo's loss didn't appear to hurt his marquee value either. Joyce risked his mandatory position against a high-risk/low-reward opponent in Zhang. Now he's lost whatever leverage he had. As ShoulderRoll said, Warren wins in the end because he has options on Zhang's next bout.

Two things...firstly, hindsight is 20/20 so it is easy to criticize afterward. Secondly, if Warren is providing challenging fights, how is that bad? Are you suggesting he should also be cherry-picking? I think he did the brave move and as a result, both Joyce and Dubois rose to prominence. Now, Joyce has a rematch and also Zhang is with him too.

That is not why brook fought ggg. Eubank backed outta the fight and hearn needed an opponent so he drug brook up 2 divisions and ruined his career. Then before he even had a chance to fully heal he puts him in with Spence and puts the final nail in his coffin. Honestly that's probably the worst thing I've ever seen a promotor do to one of his fighters, especially considering that brook was arguably the best welterweight in the world at that time and hearn just ruined him.

So he should've protected Dubois from Joyce (who was 4/1 underdog) and then should've protected Joyce from Zhang (big underdog). So just pointless cherry picks every fight?
