Hrgovic is IBF mandatory. Of course he's not going to look to fight Zhang, the WBO Interim champion.
Why on earth would this happen? You don't think their respective orgs might have a say?
And they both have a huge earner on the way... a rematch would generate more than the purse bids for the first fight ($650k total) but not by that much.Last edited by Toffee; 04-15-2023, 07:29 PM.Comment

Only beaten Joshua
Has beaten no one
Has beaten no one
I don't understand why people project guys who have done less over Wilder while saying stuff like "because Wilder's resume doe". Wilder might not have a great win but he did perform well against Fury and 2/3s of these guys haven't done anything to show they could do as well or better against the Fury Wilder put down and caused the most controversial count since Douglas-Tyson.
Usyk's Joshua dismantling is enough for him to secure top positioning, 1 is debatable. I say 1 too but it is debatable and I don't think people who say Fury are wrong. Usyk and Fury are both viable top guys.
The other two have only fought unproven guys or guys who are proven lesser HWs. Wilder's fought heaps of that caliber and what he does to them is far more impressive.- Usyk
- Fury
- Wilder
- Joshua
- Ruiz
I only have Wilder over Joshua because the caliber of their newest wins. Their post-losses wins. Wilder came back looking exactly like he did before he got triple busted by Fury. Joshua seems forever changed. Wilder's opponent was more proven. Joshua's opponent was a guy who had just lost to one of his own leftovers.
Ruiz is still more proven than Hrgovic or Zhang. The only way those guys look good is if you act like the old guard is gone.

This is a far more realistic and credible top 5 than the one in the OP. Although I would switch Usyk with Fury.
