But I guess that's the thing, it's great to have a solid chin, but it doesn't mean you don't need a defense because your face can still get messed up from accumulation, even if you're not hitting the floor. A lot of people don't factor that in.
I don't care who you are, you can't be a sitting duck at heavyweight and have these 250lbs+ guys hitting you in the face.Comment

As I thought more about this fight;
1. I think about how wickedly awesome, fast, and strong that punch was that repeatedly smashed into Joyce his face. Think about all of the punches that Joyce has eaten in the past and how none of them ever seemed to do any damage. Zhang just seem to be so much better than I have ever seen him before.
2. Joyce handled the post fight interview with Grace. I really think he is a stand up guy and I wish him well!!Comment

Holy ***! I thought Joyce would beat Jimmy Wang Yang into submission by the 6th round! That sure changes everything. The Juggernaut looked like he was ready to make some real noise at the top. This totally changes the dynamic of the division. Jimmy Wang Yang should have got the nod in the IBF final eliminator & now he just took the WBO mandatory spot. The Fury/Joyce fight is dead in the water. I guess Jimmy is the real deal! Good for him. Fury/JWY next? After watching the Goode & Forrest fights I was pretty skeptical. Technically, you are right. It's true. His chin didn't betray him but he ate too many straight hard left hands by Zhang which buckled him and subsequently damaged his right eye to the point of it swelling shut which forced the doctor to stop it. The longer the fight would have continued the greater were the chances of Joyce getting seriously hurt.Comment
