Why are people bringing up a well schooled, technically skilled young fighter with power in both hands?

Why do people keep bringing up David Morrell? He's 8-0...

JCLC hasn’t fought in months, not sure what’s happening with the amateurs being allowed to go pro. It always felt kind of weird tbh.

I didn't get the Morrell hype until I saw his last fight. I think he has a lot of talent and he has a good corner behind him_Rexy_

Now he last 11 fights he's been tearing up the cover, lemiux, gavril(twice), ellis, angulo, love, who else belongs in that murderous row? Oh, plant. Common man, who else Morell jr is going to fight?

Preach, brother! Lol Never ceases to amaze me how many “fans” don’t get how modern records are padded. I can’t claim to have seen every Morrell fight, so I don’t fully understand the level of his competition; but aside from his first victim, every one of David’s opponents had a winning record — most had impressive-looking records on paper. Of course we won’t know how good Morrell really is until he fights top guys, but it’s easy to see why he looks so promising. Can’t wait for his next outing on the 22nd.
