GGG was absolutely a great fighter, should have been undisputed ex-Byrd and is a rich guy so who gives a **** about the belts, Lara, whoever the other guy is, or even the money - this guy was sponsored by Apple so hes probably got more cash than he can ever spend

People willing to be paid to be gatekeepers weren’t good with their money.

Why does he need to sell off wins?

A draw was the best possible decision for canelo and he got lucky and it turned out that way. I thought ggg won the 1st fight 115-113. Canelo won’t the next 2 in a landslide those fights weren’t close. That just goes to tell u overated GGG is/was. He fought canelo who started at 140 as his greatest career opponent and went 0-2-1 against him. He doesn’t have another elite name on his resume. He’s been ducking charlo for years. Sergei dervychenko beat him down. He’s a one weight champ who refused to fight top competition in his one division and refused to move into any other division because he would get destroyed. Ward kovalev morrel benevidez even plant would school him. The myth of little g is hilarious. He literally doesn’t have one elite career win. Not one.
Saying Canelo who started at 140 is like saying Pacquiao who started at flyweight. Shockingly guys who start their pro careers at 15 put on weight as they grow. I don't think anyone thinks Canelo wasn't a fully fleshed out middle weight when they fought.

Canelo was a fully fledged midweight for years but invented that 155lbs "Canelo-weight" division to avoid GGG. He should've been campaigning there as early as 2014 but waited it out until 2017 until he had no other available options to fall back on.

Bumlovkin did it to himself.he said he come to 154 to fight with the belt on the line for manny or floyd :

Fighters negotiate the best terms for themselves. SRL did it vs Duran when they offered huge money for the immediate rematch knowing how badly out of shape he was he did it vs hagler giving up a percentage of his purse for a fighting in a bigger ring. When Floyd became boxing’s cash cow he dictated terms for catch weights left right and center. The only issue is bumlovkin and his fans thinking they could force canelo into anything. Golovkin has long believed he’s worth much more and is better than he actually is. He has no elite wins the only elite fighter he ever fought was canelo and it’ll go down in history he never beat him his supporters cry he couldn’t fight Paul Williams Pavlik and garcia while they were campaigning because of a promotional dispute(very convenient) it’s all just a series of unfortunate events I guess lol
