Considering the current landscape of the HW division, a win over Parker , especially a STOPPAGE win is very very good and is not delusional any way you slice it. The win does not guarantee anything but it tells me he is no walk in the park for any of the top guys in the division. He is tested and is not overrated.
Parker is absolutely shot and he was trash in his prime.Comment

Wilder's wins over Ortiz are far better than anything Joyce has done. A 43 year old version of Ortiz on rubber legs still managed to win 8 rounds against Andy Ruiz and should've gotten the decision despite 2 legit knockdowns and 1 push-down that was ruled a knockdown. 8 rounds to 4 with 3 knockdowns is 113-112, which is what I scored it and what boxingscene scored it.

Joyce is correct and its funny his not in top 15 of WBA, IBF or WBC. Fury and Joshua barely fight twice a year and theses rematch clauses is keeping alot of fighters waiting on their shot. I've said before the governing bodies need to put in a rule if you lose a world title fight you need to win 2 more fights before getting another crack at it. This should stop the Hearns, Arums and Warren's adding this into their contracts effecting fights going ahead like the Fury v Ussyk fissco.Comment

Can't really argue Joe's point, parker is a legit win and he surely deserves his shot, if he beats zhang(who is a live dog) there will be no doubt he's next. Personally I think JJ whoops hrgovic too.

It's worse than outrageous. It's the reason UFC dirty fighting is taking over. They have the monopolistic structure which enables them to ensure all the fighters they hype the most continually fight each other in their prime. Garcia/Tank is about the only mouth watering boxing fight to - hopefully - happen before its expiry dateLast edited by wileyhemi; 04-11-2023, 08:06 PM.Comment
