Even if he had been, if Yoshino had made it 12 it'd have told us something about Shakur's power at 135. Lastly, the guy flies halfway around the globe to come to NJ to fight, let the man fight
Agreed terrible stoppage. He definitely was hurting Yoshino though.

I guess you're a scumbag too. I didn't have to actually wonder about that, truth be told. In case you didn't know, it's bad sportsmanship to kick or knee an opponent while he's down in a boxing match. See you around scumbag

From my perspective he was still putting forth an effort, he was willing to come forward. Was it better for his long-term health for the fight to be stopped? Sure, but realistically it's better for every boxer's long-term health not to fight. For the sake of the competition and the fight was he so hurt that he couldn't continue? I didn't think so, personally.

EDIT: What I will say is the corner should have stepped in to stop it and that'd have been fair, but not the referee
I’m usually not for early stoppages but didn’t see a change of wind or anything else for that matter
Yes , absolutely the fight could have continued but would of just been a beatdown and a possible stoppage
I’ll give you that and fully agree , his corner should of stopped it
The ref stopping it , will always lead to these discussions

Shakur looked excellent. It was a solid first fight at 135. No reason for me to try diminishing that.
Who's diminishing anything? You're one INSECURE MOTHER ****ER! You see slights and problems when there are none. lmao

Says the guy with Devin Haney in his profile Couldn't even give Shakur Stevenson credit for tonight due to your insecure obsession with Lomachenko. You're a clown and a phony.

Definitely. He also has a cowardly way of trying hide it. He's easy to see through.

Doesn't like Haney, Stevenson, Keyshawn.. the list goes on and on with that pattern from him.
