I like the stoppage. Guy was taking huge shots. Corner should have saved him before the 6th.

The stoppage was anticlimactic. How many fights have we seen in the last few days where one guy was dominating the early rounds, only to lose the second half of the fight and get beat up in the process???! You can see that they're coddling a possible star in the making. Even the broadcasting team was riding Shakur's nuts and all the fighters who are big potential money makers in the future. Boxing is corrupt...sometimes subtly and sometimes blatantly.

You're entitled to your opinion, I respect that and I recognize punch resistance was fading and there wasn't much coming back but I disagree with you. From my perspective he was still putting forth an effort, he was willing to come forward. Was it better for his long-term health for the fight to be stopped? Sure, but realistically it's better for every boxer's long-term health not to fight. For the sake of the competition and the fight was he so hurt that he couldn't continue? I didn't think so, personally.

EDIT: What I will say is the corner should have stepped in to stop it and that'd have been fair, but not the referee

Didn’t change nothing, you’re always hating on undefeated American fighters. It comes with the territory… enjoy

Nobody is following you. As long as you continue to make false statements( boxer always beats brawler) I'll continue to shut it down. That's how that works here.

Shakur looked excellent. It was a solid first fight at 135. No reason for me to try diminishing that.

I thought he had power at 130 too. Hurt almost every guy he fought..but yeah probably stronger due to less weight to cut

Shakur looked perfect. You can’t make this shyt up. Him vs either Tank, Garcia, Haney, Loma, all good fights
Let’s see who steps up. Zepeda would be a great fight nect.. or Ortiz. He school’s both imo
