The star of david was worn for Jackie Kallen, his manager. And obviously she is a woman. She took care of me aswell when I turned pro. She is actually a part of the contender show, so look for her in the crowd. Im sure they will focus on her at some time in the series. I dont know if you remember my avatar, but that was jackie and I after my first pro fight.....Rockin'

Hey OldGringo, are you from detroit?

You know I thought that it might have been her. And I do remember her, she seems really cool. I went to her website and even tried to find you on there but she doesn't really have anything about her fighters. Also I think that movie with Meg Ryan that came out last year is about her.

yes, that movie was called "against the ropes" and it was about her. She is a really cool lady, she lives life and loves it. When I auditioned for the contender there were alot of the old guys from the Galaxy gym there. We took a snap shot or two together so that might end up somewhere on her site or the show, who knows. I still E-Mail her and we chat back and forth. I actually have known her since I was like 14 or so. When she started into the boxing she was coming down to our gym. So I can say that I knew her back when, and the great thing about her is, that nothing has changed. She is still the great lady that she had always been..........Rockin'

Ya know, i hope ishe goes down too, hard! Its no big thing that I didnt make it, that was my last go at the fighting end of the sport. Im a referee now in the amatuers and just passed my test with the Association of Boxing Commisions to start refereeing the pros. So i should be up and going this year with the pros, i am happy about that. I actually used to spar with one of the guys on the show, Tarick Salmaci. He was the first guy that I sparred too at the auditions. He is a very good boxer, great jab and good movement. He really lacks in power though but from what I have seen so far he could box or outbox any guy on the show.........Rockin'

I am doing a fantasy betting game on the contender and I am going to give you an honorary bet on Tarick Salmaci. If you win you get 10 million.

10 MILLION!!!!!!!!! Theres no way that I could or should argue with that, thankyou. Like I said he is a very good boxer but lacks power to really keep strong guys off of him. He relies on his lateral movement which is very good when coupled with his jab. I hope that he wins it, I would be happy for him......Rockin'

Booker winning 4 or 5 rounds? . . . you dont know how to score a fight buddy . . thatīs all that can be said . . being generous to Booker he won the first round and that was it. Toney dominated him and that was with an injury the majority of the fight

Runw/Knives you seriously need to learn somethings about boxing if you had Booker winning that many rounds. There is just flat out no excuse for that.

I dont know about everyone else, but I find James Toney very easy to read. Just because you see James Toney against the ropes doesn't mean he doesn't want to be there. Thats exactly where Toney wants to be.

Easy to read you say. Is that cause James is usually laughing and talking **** to his opponents in the corner? Or is it because he looks like he is thinking about a sandwhich? BTW I actually saw a fight in which he had a sandwich while in his corner. I think it was turkey and it looked good. Mmmm I could go for another sandwhich right now.
