Well that's very nice to know that Canelo is now willing to fight Jermall Charlo. Perhaps, he could fight him as a tune up as soon as Cinco De Mayo of 2024 for David "The Mexican Monster" Benavidez before inevitably challenging Benavidez on Mexican Independence Day of next year.

Now Reynoso just gave Charlo even more reason to continue to fight non-threats on even stay more inactive in hopes of the Canelo fight. But frankly, if Canelo is fighting Bivol, then no reason for Charlo and Benavidez not to fight and the winner gets the Canelo fight. Thats only logical and fair too. You can't sit on your as.s and be waiting for a Canelo payday. Benavidez gotta build on that momentum from the last fight. Oddly I don't hear anyone saying David beat Canelo leftover but if David had beaten Plant first, I 'll bet that narrative would have been bananas with Canelo. Just saying.
