He would sell more than Usyk that's for damn sure and that's the whole point i'm making. Listen u guys going on as if im a nuthugger when i said Furys a businessman, bser and is partly to blame but i'm just saying Usyk was the one who wanted the rematch or bust he's rich enough and claims all he ever wants is undisputed if he felt like he was going to win the fight why not just take the 70 - 30 no rematch win the fight then retire like he claims he was going to do. He refused so the fight didn't happen Fury is greedy and Usyk got greedy just how it is
Fury truly broke my heart

You say gullible i say facts we will soon see anyway lets see how many PPVs Usyk vs Dubois does i will be more than happy to admit I’m wrong if he does decent numbers. Yeah Usyk beat AJ and respect to him for that but nobody really cared too much about him at cruiserweight.
But Fury sells a lot better v Usyk than he would against another Chisora type fight because Usyk brings credibility, 3 belts and a claim to being the best in the division.
Usyk v Dubois won't prove anything. It's a mandatory that no-one really cares about.
Fury v Usyk was an Undisputed Heavyweight Championship fight. First in twenty-odd years. Not a mandatory. Nor was it Fury giving someone a shot. It's a two party thing.Comment

Fury's record isn't great at the moment and he's hoodwinked a lot of his own fans.
He only defended his WBC belt 3 times but look deeper and you realize 2 of those defenses were against guys he already beat, Wilder and Chisora.
So in reality, Fury only defended his world title ONE time against someone he never beat before, Dillian Whyte! Somehow people seem to overlook this. There's still time for Fury to create a meaningful legacy but with his ducking of Usyk it seems unlikely he cares about legacy.
Compare it to AJ. He defended his world titles SIX times against people he never fought before. Yet Fury became champion 2 years before Joshua and only defended one time against someone new. It's kinda crazy when you stop to think about it. Fury is unfortunately a compulsive liar and has almost a cult-leader like mind control over his fans who seem unable to see through his bs, even when presented with the statistics.
He's an excellent boxer though and from the eye-test it's not unreasonable to think he might be one of the best of the era. But boxing matches aren't won by an eye-test.

Joshua is more legit than Fury.
Fury fought Klitschko, Whyte, Wilder. We should not count Wallin as a great win, Wallin was Franklin level guy.
Joshua fought Klitschko, Povetkin, Parker, Pulev, Ruiz, Usyk. There are also secondary wins like prime Breazeale, Takam, prime Whyte, Martin. Sure, he lost some, but that is what happens when you fight good guys.
Joshua and Usyk seem to be guys willing to fight anybody. More more legit than Wilder`s and Fury`s cherry picking game.Last edited by JakeTheBoxer; 04-03-2023, 02:06 AM.Comment

Me too.
And he is highly overrated as "undefeated" fighter.
When he beat Wilder and Whyte, I expected him to fight Joshua, Usyk, Sanchez and beat all these guys.
I didn`t expect him to duck a cruiserweight , sure not.

Only actual good wins are Parker, Ruiz 2 and Whyte.Last edited by Kzbox; 04-03-2023, 03:21 AM.Comment
