Why? English is not their native language. They don't have to do anything.
Fighters not being able to speak english is a disgrace

I think you know what I Meant not all countries speak English but almost all countries practice boxing be it on a big or small scale. Sure I agree it would be nice for them to know it but it's no biggie imo. It's all about the fights you can fight you're ok in my book.

absolutely agree. With the amount of information that we have access to in the 21st century and more specifically 2020s, fighters should not be having interviews and being completely incapable of speaking english during an interview with english broadcasters.
In the 1980s, Alexis Arguello spoke better english than fighters 40 year later with access to high speed internet!
There is no downside in learning english, it will make you more money during your career, and after boxing for years to come.
Cong**** to Canelo and Cotto, who magnified their career earning potential by keeping up with their english speaking skills!
you got fighters applying for U.S. citizenship cant speak a lick of english.
sad what has happen to america.
i knew america was in trouble when im watching tv then suddenly a spanish commercial breaks out. im like wtf is this?
i had to look around and make sure where i was. i felt like a rookie police officer being asked by major colvin from the wire where you at.
its a disgrace.
an insult to the founding fathers.Comment

Thank you, not bad. Never seen that interview before. I don't know why he doesn't have some power house sponsors. By the way, I'm going to ignore the offensive words. You might be just a kid. Be safe and thanks again.Last edited by garfios; 04-06-2023, 10:28 PM.Comment
